PramaLife run groups and trips across Dorset for older people in order to help tackle loneliness and isolation.  The types of group we run, vary from Memory Cafe's for those with memory issues or dementia, Carer Support groups through to gentle armchair exercise groups to pop in social clubs.

We have structured our group delivery into specific areas with a PramaLife Manager co-ordinating the work in each area.

"I love coming here, I was really nervous the first time to come on my own but everyone welcomed me, the group leader was really helpful and introduced me to people who have now become friends I talk to away from the group. I love playing bingo, I think everyone should try going to a group like this, I feel a lot less lonely these days"

"Knit and natter - says it on the tin! None of us take it too seriously, its just a chance for us to chat about whats going on in our lives, or on TV while we are creative. Its good for your mental health, and I can tell my family that I've been out when they call to check on me "
