Donate IT is a chartiable organisation that has helped over 300 people, by providing refurbished technology including laptops, phones and tablets which have either been donated or diverted from landfill. Once refurbished, these devices are then donated back into the community to go to schools and families, Donate IT have now witnessed first hand the level of impact that connectivity can offer.
Earlier this year, one of Prama's clients received a refurbished tablet - which was delivered to his home, Jim was then given an induction on how to work the tablet, to ensure he would be able to contact family and friends and discover other apps and features. PramaLife's IT Co-ordinator Adrian, who had recently visited Jim to see how he was getting on with the tablet, Adrian said "he was almost in tears how grateful he is, as the tablet has changed his life. He skypes his family, is a frequent user of YouTube, and email".
